  • Fairer Fares Community Engagement Results

The community feedback on Fairer Fares Package has been overwhelmingly positive. During the feedback period, there were 30,756 visits to the Fairer Fares webpages on the TransLink website, with 3,555 customers providing direct feedback to inform future fare planning via the survey.

A quarter of all survey responses indicated they would use public transport more as a result of the package.

The community responded favourably to reducing the number of zones from 23 to 8 with lower fares across all zones, with many people commenting that this would simplify the network and make it cheaper for them to travel locally.
